Another summer come and gone. How did it go for you? Did you get everything done you set out to do? Not me. Yeah, sure, I got some travel in, did a bunch of good riding, made a bunch of new friends - oh, and worked some, too. But somehow, being overly cold and wet put a damper on things. I didn't shut down the furnace until mid-June and found it necessary to restart the beast by mid-September. I guess that says it all.
As planned earlier, the stream of updates I used to make here with some frequency have shifted to my blog, a much more appropriate venue. Some say the blog is dead but I disagree. The gallery is still up. I ran into some problems there with spam but I think it's all ironed out now. And I'm still playing around with Twitter on a personal basis. I haven't really figured out how it might best serve my business yet, but I still maintain (er, squat on?) the account.
Uh oh! Does something look wrong? Or do you have any other comments about what you see here? Don't be shy, tell me. It's probably my fault, but I like to learn from my mistakes. Although my blog and gallery run on third-party software I'll take a crack at fixing problems with them as well.
I've had a continuous Web presence for more than a decade and a half
now. Wow, has it really
been that long? Makes me feel... old... but the feeling passes
quickly. As I reworked this iteration I looked back at some of the
old sites. This thumbnail shows the look of the homepage and left-side
navigation from around May 1998. The world has become a very different
place since then!
